Kevin worked very hard this past month building Caitlin’s kitchen and she’s now having a blast “cooking” for us. I think it’s nicer than my kitchen!

Caitlin was not comfortable giving her wish list (which only consisted of an umbrella…that she can hold HERSELF!) to Santa. Oh well, maybe next year!

Libbie ultrasound pics – from 20 weeks (we’re now 28 weeks)!

I am VERY late getting these ultrasound pictures of Libbie posted, but I wanted to still get them on our blog. They aren’t the clearest pictures, but you can still see her limbs pretty well. At 20 weeks she was measuring right at the 50th percentile for both height and weight. Now that we are in the third trimester, I think it’s fair to say we are on the homestretch!

New Clothes – thanks Papi!

When we returned home from our trip to TN, Caitlin received a box of adorable fall/winter clothes from Papi and Amy. Here’s a picture of Caitlin sporting her new favorite dress! We also got some fun new clothes from Grandma Carol when we were in TN so now Caitlin’s wardrobe is set for fall! At least one of us will be cute this winter…my big belly is making me feel mammoth!

Trip to TN!

Here are just a few pictures from our trip to TN. Kevin and I took pictures when it was just the 3 of us, but gave the camera duties over to Carol when the rest of the family arrived. Check out facebook for her pictures.

It was such an awesome, relaxing trip. We enjoyed spending time at the lovely Wyndham resort, hiking at the Smoky Mountain National Park, visiting the Knoxville Zoo, making a trip to Kevin’s favorite pasttime…Gatty Town, shopping at the outlets, going to the kiddie amusement park, and, of course, spending time with family!

Caitlin Practicing

Caitlin learned how to swaddle and hold a baby today. She is practicing for when baby Elisabeth (“Libbie”) arrives in a few more months! Caitlin even shared her special Dolly with the baby. For all that know Dolly, you realize what a big deal that is!

Caitlin’s First Day of Preschool

Caitlin had a blast at her first day of 2 year old preschool. While many of the kids were crying and cowering in the corner of her classroom (for many of the children, this was their first time away from home), Caitlin made herself right at home and according to the teacher “was ready to run the classroom”! I guess she’s already developed leadership skills…how does “Caitlin for President” sound?

Baby #2 is on his/Her way!!

Here are a few ultrasound pictures of Baby #2. The first 3 pictures are at 10 weeks and the last 3 are at 12 weeks. As you can see from the second set of pics, this baby has long limbs already! We also discovered there were originally twins (you can see 2 sacs in some of the pictures), but one of the sacs has been empty from the beginning, so nothing ever really developed in that sac. Baby #2 is due in early February and we are absolutely thrilled! It will be fun for Caitlin to have a baby brother or sister.
